Is there someway to browse an online collection and load it, without having to punch in the url to the specific file?

The best way would be to have a web page generate URLs that would point to the comictool page with the querystring being the URL to the comic file.

you could even do it to my sample like: http://hathcock.co.uk/c/?c=http://localhost/comic.cbr  though the URL in the querystring should be URL encoded.

Is something like that you're looking for?

Just FYI, if the domains are different you're going to have to put a cross domain policy xml file on the domain hosting the files.

An example is found on the image on this blog post:
